Central University of Gujrat was established in 2009 by an Act of Parliament, with an objective to establish itself as a centre of excellence with social commitment by integrating modern, scientific & technological knowledge & skills with the basic human ethos & values. Central University of Gujrat is NAAC accredited with “B” grade and was ranked 50 in NIRF 2020.

Central University of Gujrat UG Programs Eligibility:

Each of the courses have different eligibility for admissions. To be eligible for admissions, one must fulfill all the criteria as laid down by the respective faculties of the University.

German Studies B.A. (Hons.): 10+2 with 50% marks.
Chinese B.A. (Hons.): 10+2 with 50% marks in any stream.

Admissions to Central University of Gujrat UG courses is based on Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET)

Central University of Gujrat UG Programs Reservation:

Central University of Gujrat being a Central University offers reservations in admissions according to central government rules.

Schedule Caste (SC): 15% of the total seats are reserved for students who belong to SC category.
Schedule Tribe (ST): 7.5% of the total seats are reserved for students belonging to ST Category.
Other Backward Classes (OBC): 27% of the total intake is reserved for students from Other Backward Classes (OBC), excluding those from creamy layer. Also, Central List of Caste to be followed.
Economically Weaker Section (EWS): The University has reserved 10% seats for the EWS category, in accordance with the directive of the Ministry of Education.
Persons with Disability (PWD): 5% of the seats are reserved on a horizontal basis for students from PWD category.
