The Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ) was established in 2009 in the city of Ajmer in Rajasthan. It was established as a fully funded central university by the government of India. The university is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and is accredited with an "A" Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
