After that, the final CUET UG answer key will be released, and the CUET UG results will be based on this final answer key.

Download CUET Answer KeyAfter the CUET provisional answer keys are released, NTA will open a short window (usually 2 days) to accept challenges. Students can challenge the provisional answer key by paying a nominal fee. Then the NTA team of subject experts will analyse these challenges and release the final CUET 2025 answer key.
The entire process of challenging the CUET UG answer key will be online. The CUET 2025 results will be released based on this final answer key.
Steps to challenge the CUET provisional answer key:
Students must note that they must pay a nominal fee of 200 rupees (according to last year) for every answer they decide to challenge. Any challenges without successful payment will not be considered by the NTA.
After the brief process of releasing the provision answer key, challenges, and announcing the final CUET answer key, NTA will release the CUET 2025 results for UG. As of now, NTA has not yet confirmed any official dates for announcing the CUET UG results. However, based on previous years’ timeline, the same is expected to be released by the last week of June.
The CUET UG results will be a detailed scorecard. Students must download the CUET scorecard and keep it safe. The scorecard will be the sole criteria on which the entire UG admission process for 217 participating universities will be based.
CUET exam 2025 is being conducted over multiple days and shifts in an online CBT mode. So, unlike the previous year (2024), the CUET results 2025 will include the subject-wise marks as well as percentiles. The CUET 2025 scorecard will include all the subject-wise obtained scores & percentiles. Students must visit the official website of NTA CUET and log in to their dashboard to view and download their results (when declared).

The CUET UG result is a brief scorecard for students' performance in the test. According to the latest updates and best estimation, the CUET final answer key 2025 will be released by the NTA in mid-June. This will be closely followed by the CUET 2025 result declaration (tentatively before June 30). However, the exact CUET result 2025 dates will be updated once NTA makes an official announcement.

Universities will consider the percentile score of the candidates for UG admission purposes. Please note that the CUTE scorecard will be the sole gateway for admission to all the participating universities (217).
Once the CUET 2025 result is declared, all the participating universities will open their registration process to conduct counselling for admission (A few universities open the registrations before the CUET result declaration). Once students register for the respective universities' counselling process, the universities will update the respective course-wise cut-off for admission/merit list on the students' dashboard.
Students must fulfill the course-wise CUET cut-off marks and any other additional eligibility criteria to seek admission to any of the participating universities and their constituent colleges. Many universities are expected to announce multiple cut-off lists depending on the intake capacity. If students fail to get in through the first chance, they must keep an eye out for the subsequent cut-off announcement.
Students must go through the detailed eligibility guidelines of their desired course in each of the universities/colleges they are applying to and check their CUET UG results to make wise choices.
CUET 2025 cut-off for various participating universities might depend on the following factors:
The University of Delhi (DU) alone offers one-third of the total UG seats (70,000 out of 3 lakh - approximately) on the basis of the CUET 2025 Results. With the number of DU UG seats and the number of students who register for the DU CSAS portal, there is always a possibility that there might be more than one student with the same CUET score opting for the same college and course. What happens in such a scenario for DU admission, and who gets the seat?
In such a scenario, the University of Delhi (DU) considers a special tiebreaker rule. DU has declared that if the CUET score of the students is a tie, it will consider the class 12th marks of the student (best of 3, 4, and 5, respectively), and as the last criterion, the candidate's age will be considered. The seat will be awarded to the older student.
Therefore, students need to remember that apart from the CUET results, they must have an equally good score on their boards. It might be equally crucial to decide their UG admission fate.

A good score in CUET depends on various aspects. For example, the difficulty level of the question paper, the number of papers a student opted for, and the normalization process. However, a 90+ percentile score in CUET (UG) 2025 can be considered good.
A student can appear multiple times for the CUET. There are no limits on the number of attempts a candidate is allowed. You need to just meet the eligibility criteria (class 12 marks) set by NTA & CUET.
The class 12 marks are not directly considered for UG admission anymore, as the admissions are done on the basis of the CUET result of the candidate. However, in the tiebreaker scenario (for DU admission), the class 12 result and even the age of the student might be considered.
