Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) - conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), is the sole gateway for Daulat Ram College UG admission. All seats are allocated purely on CUET UG scores through the DU CSAS portal (ugadmission.uod.ac.in).
For CUET UG 2026, the application window was open from 3rd January to 26 February 2026, and the examination is scheduled for 11 May - 31 May 2026 (online, computer-based). There is no separate college-level entrance test - your CUET score is your application to DRC.

DRC is a competitive North Campus DU college. In CUET UG 2025 Round 1, B.Com (Hons.) closed at 864.84 for the General category, and BA (Hons.) Psychology - the most competitive Arts course, closed at 874.16. Science cutoffs are relatively lower in raw score terms due to normalisation differences across PCM and PCB paper sets.
Notably, DRC saw a massive NIRF jump in 2025, which is expected to drive higher demand and marginally higher cutoffs in 2026 compared to 2025. Students who miss Round 1 can still secure a seat in Rounds 2 or 3 as higher-preferred allocations free up seats.
CUET scores are normalised across multiple exam sessions; the raw score differs from the final normalised score displayed in CSAS. Always refer to the DU CSAS portal for final allocation scores.
Key CUET UG 2026 facts for DRC aspirants:
Students must note that the class XII % is a qualifying minimum only for Daulat Ram College UG admission; the final admission is purely on CUET UG score via DU CSAS.
DRC offers 9 BA (Hons.) specialisations plus a BA Program. The college's BA (Hons.) Psychology is the highest-demand course, followed by Political Science and Economics. The BA (Hons.) Music specialisation in Hindustani Vocal/Instrumental is a unique offering not available at many DU colleges.
