How to Get Into LSR College

Target the Right CUET Score for Your Course

For Arts and Commerce courses at LSR, the General category demands 860-930+. BA (Hons.) Psychology (926), BA (Hons.) Political Science (916), and B.Com (Hons.) (906) are the most competitive. For B.Sc Statistics target 828+ and for Mathematics, 779+. BA (Hons.) Hindi (579) and BA (Hons.) Sanskrit (314) are comparatively more accessible.

Choose CUET Subjects Strategically

For BA (Hons.) Economics and B.Sc courses, Mathematics is mandatory in your CUET subject combination. For B.Com (Hons.), you can choose either Mathematics or Accountancy - merit is calculated from the best score across both combinations. For BA (Hons.) Journalism and English are compulsory in List A.

Class 12 Boards Still Matter

A minimum of 50% in Class 12 is required to register on DU CSAS. While the tie-breaking scenario is rare, maintaining 90%+ Boards gives you a safety net in high-competition courses like Psychology and Political Science, where CUET scores can be neck-and-neck.

Being a Women's College - Plan Accordingly

LSR is open exclusively to women. If you are a female candidate, LSR is one of the most prestigious options in all of DU. Build a preference list that includes both North Campus (Miranda House, Hansraj) and South Campus (LSR) options to maximise your chances across DU's top colleges.

Fill DU CSAS Preferences Immediately

Register on ugadmission.uod.ac.in the moment the portal opens. List LSR at the top for your preferred programme and add 8-10 backup colleges. Given that LSR is women-only, competition is also concentrated - every percentage point in your CUET score matters at this level.
