Ramjas College at a Glance

Ramjas College was founded on 17 January 1917 by Rai Kedar Nath - a visionary educationist and philanthropist, and named in memory of his father, Lala Ramjas. The college has a remarkable historical legacy. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar - architect of the Indian Constitution, served as Chairman of the Governing Body of Ramjas College. On 12 February 1959, Martin Luther King Jr. visited the college and addressed its students during his India tour.

Today, Ramjas offers 8 BA courses, 8 B.Sc courses, and 2 B.Com courses at the UG level. Ramjas College Campus & Facilities

Ramjas College campus is one of the most distinctive in Delhi University - an iconic red-brick building. The campus is regularly cited by students as one of the most beautiful in DU North Campus. The building was inaugurated by India's first President Dr. Rajendra Prasad on 17 January 1951.
