Narsee Monjee College: In its latest announcement the NTA has announced that the Narsee Monjee College of commerce and economics has confirmed its participation in CUET 2023. The college has declared to give equal weightage (50-50) to the boards and CUET marks for considering any candidate for NM college admission.
Hitherto, the admissions to various UG courses at the SVKMs, NM College were done on the basis of the MiNCET entrance test. With this latest announcement, commencing the academic session 2023-24 it will be done through the CUET scorecard and the boards' results of the candidate.
CUET for NM college is going to be a turning point for the thousands of students who apply every year to this prestigious college located in Mumbai. Now for NM college admission students have to apply for and write CUET.
N.M. College admission will be given based on equal weightage to class XIIth marks and CUET scores of the candidate.
Admissions to all the UG Programs (Self Finance Programs & B.Com Outsiders’ Category) at Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics (Autonomous) for the academic calendar 2023-24 will be done through the CUET (UG) - 2023. The test will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) from May 21 - 31, 2023.
Candidates seeking NM college admissions are advised to go through the CUET’23 admission bulletin on the official website of CUET to get further information about the test. The application process started on February 9, and the last day for online registration is March 30, 2023.

Considering various factors like high cut-offs and irregular marking schemes of different boards, MoE along with UGC decided to conduct a common and centralized test for all UG admission to universities across the country. Thus, the CUET was introduced in 2022. In CUET 2023, more than 200 universities including 47 central and various prestigious private colleges like NM College and Mithibai Colle have confirmed their participation to date.

Remark: The final admission to any of these programs will be given based on equal weightage to class XIIth marks (aggregate of all subjects) and CUET score (from the General Test). Under NEP 2020, UG Programs will be of 4 years duration with Honours. Under NEP 2020, this UG Program is likely to be of 4 years duration with Honours from A.Y. 2023-24.
