Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGS IPU), popularly known as I.P. University conducts an entrance exam IPU CET for admission in various undergraduate courses. Located in the vicinity of Delhi, it attracts thousands of students for engineering courses in their various colleges. IPU CET serves as the means to enter any I. P. University college. The students are picked up on the basis of their scores in exam and the ranks achieved by them.
The interested candidates are required to pass class XII or any equivalent exam from a recognized board with the minimum aggregate of 55% in Math, Physics and Chemistry (PCM) subjects. The candidate has to pass a compulsory exam in English as well. Those who are appearing in class XII exams can also apply if they meet the eligibility criteria after declaration of result. Such candidates would have to show class XII mark-sheet as well along with other required documents.
It is important to know about the various aspects of the exam to excel with good scores. It comprises of 150 questions that a candidate has to answer in the duration of 150 minutes or 2.5 hours. There are majorly three sections- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.

The questions are framed from the syllabus of class XI and XII from three subjects; Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics. Equal weightage is given to all three subjects in the paper.
