FRM stands for Financial Risk Management, is a professional designation bestowed by the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP). It is the leading certification for risk managers. FRMs are constantly in demand by the world’s leading companies and banks. FRM certification showcase skill at identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risk at a high level. The course offers a network of expert risk professionals working at world’s leading financial institutions.

FRM Exam

The certification exam for financial risk management is held twice in a year by the council.To obtain the FRM certificate, a candidate needs to pass FRM Exam Part l and within 4 years of passing Part l exam, Part ll exam must be cleared. In addition to clearing the exams, 2 years of professional full-time financial risk management work experience is also required.

Every year, the exams are conducted in May and November. There are 100 multiple choice questions in Part l and 80 in Part llto be solved within 4 Hoursof exam duration.

  • Current Issues in Financial Markets (10%)

FRM Fees

Part I

  • Early Registration: USD 825
  • Standard Registration: USD 950
  • Late Registration: USD 1125

This includes one-time registration fee of USD 400.

Part II

  • Early Registration: USD 350
  • Standard Registration: USD 475
  • Late Registration: USD 650

There is no separate exam fee for FRM certification exams.
