This examination is conducted on a pan-India level by IISc (Institute of Science) and one of the IITs (Indian Institute of Technology) for the purpose of admission into MS/MTech/M. GMAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria

There is an eligibility criteria for GATE 2021 like there is for any management entrance exam. The exact GATE 2021 eligibility criteria have been released as a part of GATE 2021 notification. The GATE 2021 eligibility criteria are given below:

Candidates hailing from different countries can also appear for GATE 2021. Candidates who are in the final year or have already completed their qualifying degree from countries except India need to fulfill the below mentioned eligibility criteria:

GATE 2021 Registration

According to the GMAT 2021 Notification, the GMAT 2021 registration will begin either in the last week of August or the first week of September 2020. Aspirants are required to get themselves registered until the fourth week of September (registration deadline). Kindly refer the below mentioned application fee structure for GATE 2021:

For those candidates who would complete the registration after the deadline, a late fee of Rs 500 will be charged.

GATE 2021 Registration and Application form

According to GMAT 2021 notification, each candidate must fill out the GMAT 2021 application form from the official GMAT 2021 website to participate in the exam. The steps to register for GMAT 2021 application form are listed below according to previous year’s GMAT application forms:

Documents required during registration

GATE 2021 registration will be incomplete without proper documents of a candidate. Here is the list of documents a candidate is required to upload along with their online application form.

  1. Graduation degree certificate or provisional degree certificate or course completion certificate or membership certificate issued by the governing authorities.
  2. If the candidate is in the final year and will complete graduation in 2021 or later, then he/she needs to upload the Provisional Certificate Letter (as issued by the Head of the Institute/Dean/Registrar/Head of Department) or a consolidated marksheet of Section A of AMIE, etc.
  3. Candidates under the PwD category need to upload a PwD certificate issued by the recognizing body. Only those candidates who have 40% or more established disabilities will receive concession in the application fee. Candidates also need to present this certificate at the granted institute during admission.
  4. Candidates who received backlogs during graduation need to present a copy of the consolidated graduation marksheet of the final year issued by his/her institute. The marksheet downloaded from the internet would not be accepted by the authorities.
  5. SC/ST students need to upload a category certificate to avail concession.
  6. Dyslexic candidates also need to submit a certificate to avail the scribe services.
  7. Scanned photograph and signature of the candidate.

Important points related to GATE 2021 Exam Pattern

GATE 2021 Syllabus

GATE 2021 syllabus is yet to be released by the IIT Bombay as a part of GATE 2021 Notification. Till then, students can refer to the syllabus information based on previous year analysis. Please note that General Aptitude (GA) is a mandatory section across all the engineering disciplines.

GATE 2021 Admit Card

Candidates can successfully download the admit card online by logging in to the official GATE website using their enrollment number and password. Once logged in, they need to click the pdf link provided to them and save the document on their desktop. Once downloaded, it is advised to take a printout of the admit card for future reference. The card will have details like candidate’s name, registration number, exam center code and address, timing, photo, signature, attestation of GATE organizing chairman and instructions.

GATE 2021 Result

GATE 2021 results would be out by the second week of March (tentatively). Candidates who would appear for GATE 2021 can easily download their scorecard by logging into by logging into GATE Online Application Process System (GOAPS). Candidates need to enter their registration ID, Enrolment Number and Date of Birth to access their scorecard. The scorecard will contain details like candidate’s name, roll number, GATE 2020 Examination and paper code, total marks (out of 100), qualifying marks for corresponding GATE paper and Candidate’s AIR (All India Rank)

GATE 2021 Preparation Tips

GATE 2021 preparation is one of the most important steps in the GATE 2021 notification. Candidates should be acquainted with the subject-wise topics, test structure, mock test release, sample question papers and more.
