What GenWise Students Have to Say?

The surest way to assess whether we’re on the right track is through our testimonials! Here’s how our students feel about our courses!

The way the value of G (gravitational constant) was found out was so beautiful. I can't believe that an equation that I have been exposed to for some time now, had so much beauty and simplicity to it.

Kavya Nair (Student)
Avalon International School, Navi Mumbai Intro to Astrophysics

I liked the variety of knowledge I got exposed to. Also, I really liked the country ranking assignment. Because of that, I can now judge myself and not rely on other sources. Realism, liberalism and constructivism have made me understand the world.

Sifar Jirgale (Student)
DLRC, Pune International Relations, GenWise Online

The whole concept of 'Critical Reading' is a very interesting topic. The fact that we can 'critically' read articles, and understand how people try to fool you, is really enlightening! Also, Sir explained the topics with a lot of videos, and real-life examples, so we could understand it much much better.

Sanika Luktuke (Student)
SES Gurukul, Pune Critical Reading, GenWise Online

Before the course, I didn’t really have a concept for numbers from an estimation/ Order of Magnitude perspective…I’ve definitely learnt a lot about estimating and how to roughly think in numbers.

Sia (Student)
Inventure Academy, Bengaluru Intro to Estimation, GenWise Online

I was surprised at the quality and extent of feedback I got on my homework…that really helped me individually.

Aparna Sharma (Student)
TISB, Bengaluru GenWise Online

I enjoyed mainly 2 things:-
1) Although the course was related to school work it was explained in a very unique way which really appeals to me.
2) I really enjoyed the fact that the teachers really made sure we understood the concepts which is generally not seen very often among school teachers.

Aneesh, Grade 10 (CBSE)
Vidya Valley, Pune

The main thing I took away from the course is that asking questions is the most important thing….I would look forward to the homework assignments which were fun because they involved practical work… it was probably one of the most helpful 5 months of my life.-

Kairav Grade 8 (IB)
UWC, Singapore

I used to hate biology and I like it now… I think that’s because in school you can’t dig deeper, because they have finish the syllabus.. but here we could. In Physics and Chemistry, I had learnt all these things couple of years ago, but digging deeper into it built my understanding…I also learnt faster because we went deeper.-

Lalitha Grade 9,
Greenwood High (IGCSE), Bangalore

Even in the few weeks we have been doing this, I can see the level of anxiety on hot button issues come down substantially….Step 1 is getting rid of one’s anxiety as a parent; when you are anxious, the result you get is always an anxious one. This has been really useful with my sons who are 15 and 12.”

Sukanya Kuruganti, Finance Leader
Mother of 2 teens New York, USA.

It's been an absolutely revelatory 5 days for me. Some very practical pointers on self-esteem! I am a mother to a 20-year old, and I thought I had experienced parenting well, but in yesterday’s session I felt like someone in Grade 1!

Madhuri Pai, mother of a teen,
United Kingdom

Even after being a pediatrician and having a knowledge of child psychology, this course has been very helpful- for dealing with my own child as well as my patients who come to me with issues with their children.
