Dr. Stanton received his Master's in Political Science from Emory University (Atlanta, Georgia). He obtained his Doctorate in Business Administration from Stanford University (Stanford, California) with his dissertation being on Essays in Applied Economics.

Before joining Harvard Business School's faculty, he was an Assistant Professor at the London School of Economics and the University of Utah.

Dr Stanton's predominant research seeks to understand how technology is changing the management and nature of work. He has written on issues concerning the rise of the gig economy, practices that foster collaboration in the workplace, the management of remote teams, pricing in online labor markets, changes in worker output over the business cycle, and executive compensation in privately held ventures. More technical pieces focus on uncovering how front-line supervisors causally change worker productivity and on estimating the returns to experimenting with entrepreneurship when founders have an abandonment option. His publications include seven journal articles, one book chapter, five working papers, 15 cases and teaching material.

Sarah received her Bachelor's degree in Politics and International Studies, and her Masters of Education in Student Personnel Administration in Higher Education.

She serves as the main communicator for the Undergraduate major and minor; Sarah provides walk-in academic advising hours and supports the Director of Undergraduate Studies.

Before taking on the position as Undergraduate Experience and Outreach Coordinator, Sarah worked in the Office of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs since 2010 at Ithaca College. She positively contributed towards student learning and education initiatives, including her advising of the Student Government Association.

Sarah has cultivated many meaningful relationships with students, and she specializes in creative design and marketing. She has assisted in both summer and continuing orientation programs; her ability to develop programs that foster leadership and growth potential are well known, and she has been considered an invaluable resource that has positively influenced both staff and students alike.

Dr. Mauro obtained his Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctorate's degrees in Political Science from University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, McGill University, and University of Albany respectively.

Before coming to Boston College, Dr Mauro undertook a post-doctoral research fellowship in the Institute for British-Irish Studies (IBIS) at University College Dublin (UCD). While there he worked on a project, titled Breaking the Patterns of Conflict: The Irish State, the British Dimension, and the Northern Ireland Conflict, a comprehensive oral history of policy makers involved with the Northern Ireland peace process from the Sunningdale Agreement to the St. Andrews Agreement.

In addition to being an experienced academic, Dr Mauro has extensive experience in university administration and a deep interest in entrepreneurial practices. During the past four years as Director of the Irish Institute, Mauro designed and implemented professional education programs for developing and senior leaders in Ireland and Northern Ireland. Dr Mauro has also developed and continues to lead an active alumni association allowing past participants to continue to share, learn, and advance through Irish Institute programing.

Dr. Liesl Riddle

Dr. Riddle obtained her Bachelor's and Master's degree in Middle Eastern Studies. She also holds an MBA in Marketing and International Business. Her Doctorate was in Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin.

Before joining The George Washington University, she worked in the field of market research and held the position of the director of research for an international market research firm.

At The George Washington University, she is a founding member and former director of Diaspora Research Program and is a faculty advisor for the Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) in the area of diaspora investment and entrepreneurship. Since 2006, she has led the Diaspora Capital Investment Project, which generates and disseminates learning about diaspora investment and its role in development to assist private-sector firms, policymakers, diaspora organizations, diaspora entrepreneurs and researchers. She also was one of the original partners of the African Diaspora Marketplace, a business plan competition co-sponsored by USAID, Western Union and The George Washington University.

Dr Riddle has written extensively about diasporas and development, international entrepreneurship, and trade and investment promotion. She has conducted research with diaspora communities in the USA and Europe originating from countries of origin in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East.

Dr Riddle also consults on diaspora engagement-related issues for international organizations and government agencies, such as the United Nations, the World Bank, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the International Centre for Migration and Policy Development (ICMPD), and for private-sector clients including Western Union. She is a member of the advisory board of Homestrings, an online investment platform for diaspora investment, and the African Diaspora Network in Silicon Valley.

Dr. Dustin De Felice

Dr. Dustin De Felice received his Bachelor's in Speech Communication with a minor in Spanish and Linguistics from Northeastern Illinois University, and his Master's in Linguistics with a concentration in TESL from the same exceptional university as well. He has obtained a PhD in Second Language Acquisition and Instructional Technology from the University of South Florida

With two decades of experience in Adult Education, Dr. Dustin De Felice holds a passion for working with teachers, learners, and organizations in creating an environment for success. He's spent much of his academic career exploring language teaching and learning through qualitative techniques; he has a particular interest in exploring how technology can be used to create educational materials for both traditional and virtual classrooms.

Dr. Felice's teaching experience has led him across the U.S. and Mexico, and he regularly advocates for language learning. Prior to taking on his role as Director of the English Language Center, he served as Director of the Master of Arts degree in Foreign Language Teaching (MAFLT) program, which is designed specifically for current and aspiring foreign language teachers.

The English Language Center aims to empower international students to fully participate within the university community by providing them with both academic and non-academic support; Dr. Felice is motivated to explore new ways to enhance students' language development, and he continues to work towards building new connections within Michigan State University and communities beyond.
