IBPS Clerk Preliminary Exam (December 02, 2017) Analysis: (Slot- I)



Today was the first day of IBPS Clerk Preliminary Exam 2017. It has been held in four time slots-2 each in morning and evening. The exam will span over a period of one week, ending on December 10, 2017. A total of 100 questions had to be answered in 60 minutes. All the other sections, except the English Language section, were available bilingually, that is, in both English and Hindi. Each correct answer will fetch 1 mark while each incorrect answer will reduce the score by 0.25.

There were three sets of five questions each from circular sitting arrangement, linear arrangement in a single row and floor arrangement. Syllogism questions reappeared after a gap of two years. The overall difficulty level of this section was easy.

There was 1 set of five questions from Data Interpretation (table based). Furthermore, the questions on Number Series were a little tricky. Questions based on Arithmetic were primarily from Time and work, Ratio, SI & CI, Percentages, Ages, Profit, Loss & Discount, etc. The overall difficulty level of this section was easy to moderate.
