IBPS conducts an annual exam under the name IBPS PO & IBPS Clerk to select the eligible candidates for the post of Probationary Officers (PO) and Clerks in various public sector banks across the country.
Both IBPS PO & Clerk recruitment exams are conducted in two phases, namely, Preliminary and Main. Candidates who qualify the Main exam are called for the interview.
Age limit for IBPS PO: 20 to 30
Age limit for IBPS Clerk: 20 to 28
The candidate must possess a degree (graduation degree) in any discipline from the Indian Government recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
