IIM Bangalore offers two in-person, four-year B.Sc. programmes starting in Academic Year 2026-27:

  • B.Sc. (Hons) in Economics with minors in Data Science and Business Studies
  • B.Sc. (Hons) in Data Science with minors in Economics and Business Studies

Total Intake of 80 students has been mentioned.

Seats per program: 40 students.
Purpose: Small cohort size ensures personalised attention, close faculty interaction, and strong peer networks.

These are not BBA programs because, they follow a multidisciplinary approach integrating Economics, Data Science, and Business Studies. Emphasis on quantitative and analytical rigour, unlike traditional business degrees that focus more on management theory.

  • IIMB UG Admissions Test: 13 December 2025 (Saturday)
  • Interview Window: 22–31 January 2026 (in-person)
  • Offer Release: 28 February 2026

Age Requirement:

  • Applicants must be 20 years old or younger as of August 1, 2026.

Academic Requirements:

  • Completion of Class XII or equivalent from a recognised board
  • Mathematics is mandatory in Class XII
  • Minimum 60% marks in Class 10 Mathematics

The tests are:

  • Applicants are required to take the IIMB Undergraduate Admissions Test
  • Selection is based on performance in the test and personal interview
