Five year Integrated Programme in Management by Indian Institute of Management Indore. IIM MBA degree directly instead of having to appear in CAT.
13.03 lakh students registered for IIT in 2016. If unable to clear the exams, students drop a year and appear again. There are 17 IITs at present, yet only top 5 IITs are worth the effort. After IIT, majority grads write CAT & hence leave their core branch & join IIMs. They again compete against 2.18 lakh students to get into an IIM! As IITs are all technical, their prior subject knowledge is irrelevant in an MBA. Total duration= 4 years of engg + 2 MBA = 6yrs. 19,000 students sit for IPM The probability of getting into IIM Indore through IPM exam is much higher that getting into an IIT. This program provides IIM MBA degree directly instead of having to appear in CAT. This program provides fundamentals of all subjects and inculcate additional insights on finance, HR, operations etc. which comes handy in job. Total duration = 5 years
