1. Total duration of the test is 40 minutes.
  2. A countdown timer at the top right corner of your screen will display the time remaining for you to complete the section. When the clock runs out, the section gets submitted by default - you are not required to end or submit your exam.
  3. This paper contains 30 questions.
  4. There is only one correct answer to each question.
  5. You will be awarded 4 marks for each correct answer.
  6. Each wrong answer will attract a penalty of one mark.
  7. The question palette at the right of the screen shows one of the following statuses of each of the questions numbered:
    You have not visited the question yet.
    You have not answered the question.
    You have answered the question.
    You have NOT answered the question but have marked the question for review.
    You have answered the question but marked it for review.

    8. If an answer is selected for a question that is Marked for Review, the answer will be considered in the final evaluation.


    Navigating to a question :

    1. To select a question to answer, you can do one of the following:
      1. Click on the question number on the question palette at the right of your screen to go to that numbered question directly. Note that using this option does NOT save your answer to the current question.
      2. Click on Save and Next to save answer to current question and to go to the next question in sequence.
      3. Click on Mark for Review and Next to save answer to current question, mark it for review, and to go to the next question in sequence.
    2. You can view the entire paper by clicking on the Question Paper button.


    Answering questions :

    1. For multiple choice type question :
      1. To select your answer, click on one of the option buttons
      2. To change your answer, click the another desired option button
      3. To save your answer, you MUST click on Save & Next
      4. To deselect a chosen answer, click on the chosen option again or click on the Clear Response button.
      5. To mark a question for review click on Mark for Review & Next. If an answer is selected for a question that is Marked for Review, the answer will be considered in the final evaluation.
    2. For the non-MCQ type questions :
      1. Use the number-board present on the screen to type your answer
      2. Ensure that the answer typed is correct since even a decimal point might change your answer
      3. Do not provide any space between numbers or alphabets. For example if the answer to a question is 153, then do not type 1 5 3.
      4. If you encounter a non-MCQ typeParajumble and its correct order is: 4th statement followed by the 3rd statement followed by 2nd statement and then the 1st statement your answer should be 4321(using the number board)
      5. To mark a question for review click on Mark for Review & Next. If an answer is selected for a question that is Marked for Review, the answer will be considered in the final evaluation.
    3. To change an answer to a question, first select the question and then click on the new answer option followed by a click on the Save & Next button.
    4. Questions that are saved or marked for review after answering will ONLY be considered for evaluation.


    Navigating through sections :

    1. At any point in time you will only be able to see the questions of the section that you are currently working on.
    2. You will not be able to freely navigate between sections.
    3. You can move the mouse cursor over the section names to view the status of the questions for that section.
