Integrated Program in Management (IPM) is run by only three institutes in India - IIM Indore, IIM Rohtak and Nirma University, Ahmadabad. For admission into IPM course at these three institutes you would have to appear for the entrance test- Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) which are conducted separately by IIM Indore IPM and IIM Rohtak IPM. Scores of IPMAT- Indore are accepted by IIM Indore IPM and Nirma University IP004D. While IIM Rohtak IPM conducts its own entrance test- IPMAT- Rohtak. Each institute has its own set of eligibility criteria. This article will discuss IPMAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria in detail for both IPMAT- Indore and IPMAT- Rohtak
Candidates satisfying the following IPMAT 2021 eligibility criteria are eligible to apply for the Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management of IIM Indore.
Age: Candidate should have been born on or after August 01, 1999 (5 years of relaxation to the candidates from SC/ST/PwD category will be given i.e. born on or after August 01, 1994)
Qualifying Exam: Candidate should have passed Standard XII/HSC or equivalent examination in 2017, 2018 or appearing in 2019
Minimum Percentage (%) of marks: Candidate should have Minimum 60% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations (55 % for the candidates from SC/ST/ PwD category)
Note 1: Candidates who are likely to complete standard XII/ HSC or equivalent by the end of June 30, 2019 can also apply, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria as mentioned above. If selected, such candidates will be offered admission to the programme provisionally. At the time of registration, such candidate must have to produce standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations mark sheet (securing minimum marks, as indicated above) along with school leaving certificate/migration certificate, failing which the candidate’s provisional admission offer will stand cancelled.Note 2: The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in X and XII Standard would be calculated based on the aggregate marks of all subjects that appear in the mark sheet/grade sheet, irrespective of the Board’s regulation. In case the candidates are awarded letter grades or grades points instead of marks, the conversion of grades to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure certified by the Board/ Competent Authority.
IPMAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria for students keen to apply for 5 year Integrated program in Management (IPM) in IIM Rohtak :
Minimum 60% in Standard X/ SSC and Standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations (55% for the candidates from SC/ ST/ PwD category)
Maximum 20 years of age as on July 31, 2019
Reservation will be applicable as per GOI norms after meeting the minimum eligibility criteria.
IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak reserve all rights to decide the eligibility conditions for the exam.
No intimation will be sent to candidates who are not selected for the final offer.
Candidates who attempt to apply with minor changes of information more than once will be rejected and debarred from the further selection process.
A general category candidate requires a minimum of 60% in Higher secondary school certificate and Senior secondary school certificate or equivalent examination to fill the application form.
Candidates who were born on or after August 01, 1999 are eligible for IPMAT 2021. However, five-year relaxation will be given to the candidates who belong to SC/ST/PwD category
Yes, there is a n age limit for IPMAT 2021. For general category candidates, the candidate should be born on or after August 1, 2000. For SC/ST/PwD candidates, the candidate should be born on or after August 1, 1995.
No correction will be available to candidates later. Hence, they are advised to fill all the required details carefully.
