The IPMAT 2026 Cutoff refers to the minimum marks a candidate must secure - section-wise or overall, to qualify for the next stage of the IPM admission process at various IIMs offering the program.
The IPMAT cutoff 2026 will be the official criterion, and each student must qualify to secure IPM admission.
The IPMAT Indore exam was conducted on May 4, and the IPMAT Rohtak exam is scheduled for May 10, 2026. Once the exams are over, respective institutions will release the final results and the IPMAT cutoff in the last week of May or the first week of June (tentatively).
The same will be updated here when released.
Meanwhile, here we have thoroughly consolidated all official 2025 cutoffs (IPMAT & JIPMAT), ATS score ranges, and multi-year trends in one place.
Also, a brief past 3-year trend analysis has been provided to give students a clear picture of what to expect.
The following factors directly influence the IPMAT cutoffs:

Key structural rules for IPMAT 2026 cutoffs:
All three sectional cutoffs are mandatory in IPMAT Indore. A candidate failing in even one section is not shortlisted for PI, regardless of his/her overall score. The following is the expected sectional and category-wise IPMAT Indore cutoff for 2026.

The minimum ATS for the General category (41.55) sets the floor for getting a PI call. Aiming for an ATS well above this minimum is essential to be competitive; many candidates on the floor do not receive a final offer.

Clearing the sectional cutoff only gets you into the PI shortlist - it does not guarantee admission. Here are safe target scores based on 2025 actuals:
IPMAT Indore - General Category Safe Targets: QA SA: 24+ (out of 60) | QA MCQ: 20+ (out of 120) | VA: 110+ (out of 180) Safe total: 180–190 out of 360
IPMAT Rohtak - Since the exam is yet to be conducted, it i shard to tell. The same will be updated after the exam.
JIPMAT - TBA
For IPMAT Indore, the final 150 seats are considered based on the full composite score, including the PI (35% weightage). Clearing the cutoff is the first gate - it is not sufficient on its own.
DISCLAIMER: Cutoff data for IPMAT Indore 2026 is a pure estimation and individual analysis done by CL experts; the actual IPMAT 2026 cutoff might vary slightly. We are not responsible for any decisions made by students based on the estimated cutoffs released by us.

As discussed in the article above, since the exam is yet to be conducted, it is hard to tell. The same will be updated after the exam.
