The IPMAT 2026 Cutoff refers to the minimum marks a candidate must secure - section-wise or overall, to qualify for the next stage of the IPM admission process at various IIMs offering the program.
The IPMAT cutoff 2026 will be the official criterion, and each student must qualify to secure IPM admission.
The IPMAT Indore exam was conducted on May 4, and the IPMAT Rohtak exam is scheduled for May 10, 2026. Once the exams are over, respective institutions will release the final results and the IPMAT cutoff in the last week of May or the first week of June (tentatively).

Factors Influencing IPMAT 2026 Cutoffs
The following factors directly influence the IPMAT cutoffs:
- Total number of students appearing in the exam
- The difficulty level of the paper
- Marking scheme and number of questions
- Total number of seats available and reservation norms
- Overall performance distribution of candidates
- Lowest and average marks scored among all test-takers
Key structural rules for IPMAT 2026 cutoffs:
- Only candidates who clear the minimum marks in each section of IPMAT Indore are considered for the merit list.
- The admission committee sets the minimum marks per section independently for each category
- However, IIM Rohtak uses only overall cutoffs. They do not consider any sectional cutoffs.
IPMAT Indore Sectional Cutoff 2026 (Expected)

The Aptitude Test Score (ATS) is a composite score calculated only for candidates who clear all three sectional cutoffs. It determines the PI shortlist merit order within each category. ATS is a weighted composite - it is not the same as the raw total score.

The IPMAT Rohtak score carries only 55% of the final merit for IIM Rohtak. Class X marks contribute 10%, Class XII marks contribute 20%, and PI contribute 15%. A strong academic record can meaningfully compensate for a borderline aptitude score.
