What Is a Good Score in IPMAT?

Clearing the sectional cutoff only gets you into the PI shortlist - it does not guarantee admission. Here are safe target scores based on 2026 actuals:

For IPMAT Indore, the final 150 seats are considered based on the full composite score, including the PI (35% weightage). Clearing the cutoff is the first gate - it is not sufficient on its own.

Students aspiring to appear for IPMAT Indore, Rohtak, or JIPMAT in 2027 or 2028, must thoroughly review these section and category-wise cutoffs for both IPMAT & JIPMAT and compare the test-wise trend to get a clearer picture and align their IPMAT preparation accordingly. They must aim to score at least 10-15 marks above the safe score zone to have a clear advantage in the final admission.
