IPMAT 2020 Exam Pattern (Indore)

The IPMAT selection procedure is three fold. The first step is the aptitude test conducted by IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak separately. The second and third step is the WAT (Written Ability Test) and the PI (Personal Interview) Students who aspire to get into the 5 year Integrated Programme in Management have to appear and qualify in these 3 tests, based on which a student is offered admission into the IPMAT Programme. Candidates will be selected based on their overall performance in the aptitude test, written ability test, and personal interview.

Outline on IPMAT 2020 Exam Pattern

This section of the article will provide the candidate with an overview of IPMAT 2020 exam pattern including the allotted time, number of questions asked the marking scheme, etc.

• IPMAT is a computer based test hence, will be conducted in online mode.
• The duration of IPMAT 2020 will be 120 minutes i.e. 2 hours
• The exam will have three sections. For each section 40 minutes will be allotted
• IPMAT 2020 marking scheme-
• For each correct answer 4 marks will be awarded
• For each incorrect answer 1 mark will be deducted
• However, For  the quantitative- aptitude SA section there won’t be any negative marking.
• If any question is left unanswered, marks will neither be awarded nor deducted.

IPMAT 2020 Exam Section

IPMAT 2020 will majorly be divided in two section

• Verbal Aptitude
• Quantitative aptitude
• Quantitative aptitude section will further be divided in two sub-sections. An MCQ section and a short answer section.
