NPAT Exam 2022

NMIMS has released a notification regarding the NPAT Exam 2022 application form on December 23, 2021. NPAT 2022 is being conducted from April 01 to June 10 as a computer-based test from test centres. NPAT Exam (NMIMS Programs after the 12th) is conducted by SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) to select the desired candidates for admission in the courses like BBA, B.Com, etc.

SVKM's NMIMS Deemed to be University will be conducting the exam in 23 states with 66 exam cities across the country. The last date to schedule the exam is set as June 05. Candidates can give three attempts to the NPAT Exam, that is two extra attempts after the main exam. However, there should be a gap of 20 days between two attempts of NPAT. NMIMS will consider the best score out of three attempts for the admission process.

NPAT Exam 2022: Key Changes

The latest changes in the exam have been rolled out with NPAT Exam 2022 registration fee increased  to INR 2,000, last year the registration fee was INR 1,800. Additionally, last year the exam was conducted in a remote proctored mode, this year the NPAT Exam is being conducted from the test centres. These are the key changes which you will notice as compared to last year.

NPAT Exam Application Process 2022

Candidates can register for NPAT Exam online by visiting it’s official website. The only mode of application form submission available is online. The application fee for the NPAT Exam can be paid through an online payment methods such as credit/debit/net banking. Check the following points for the NPAT Exam Registration process in brief:

  3. Go to your mailbox and verify the details.
  4. Login with username and password to complete the NPAT application form

NPAT Exam Eligibility Criteria 2022

Candidates aspiring for BBA admission through NPAT Exam must fulfil the eligibility criteria.. Candidates failing to meet the eligibility can face the rejection from the examination process. Space below mentions the eligibility conditions for NPAT Exam given by the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS).

  1. Candidates applying for the NPAT Exam must have qualified Class 12 or equivalent exam.
  2. Candidates can submit an IB diploma certificate only if it is awarded by a recognised board. IB certificate holders are not eligible for the test as per the rules of NMIMS..
  3. Candidates passing class XII or equivalent exam from open/ distance learning are also eligible to apply for the NPAT Exam. In this case, the school should be recognised by the National Institute of Open Schooling.
  4. Candidates who have not been able to pass class XII either from CBSE or ICSE board or IB diploma in their first attempt are not eligible for the exam.
  5. Candidates must have obtained an aggregate of 60% marks in XII or equivalent examination.
  6. Candidates holding IB Diploma degree will be eligible only if he/she has Mathematics/ Statistics..
  7. Candidates having cleared either CBSE/ ICSE board exam need to mention the aggregate marks of all the subjects of Class X or equivalent examination..
  8. Candidates exceeding the age of 25 years will not be eligible to apply for the exam

NPAT Exam 2022 Syllabus

SVKM's NMIMS has released the NPAT Exam notification that consist of three sections for the exam. Each section has few  topics, these topics are considered while designing the NPAT Exam  paper. Candidates should cover all topics that could possibly come under the following sections:

  3. Proficiency in the English Language

NPAT Exam Preparation Tips 2022

Every year more than 80,100 students appear for the NMIMS NPAT Exam. These students fight  for 3,000 seats and  this brings out the admission rate of less than 4 per cent. Preparing well for the exam becomes crucial to compete with 80,100 test takers. Here are some of the preparation tips to help candidates to qualify the exam:

  1. Before starting the actual preparation, candidates must be properly aware of the exam pattern and syllabus.
  2. Cover all the topics from one section at a time.
  3. Proficiency in the English Languagesection  is considered the easiest among all three sections, experts recommend to cover this section at the end.
  4. Note down the formulas for the Quantitative and Numerical Ability section and read them daily..
  5. Solve previous question papers for the awareness of the type of question paper..
  6. Practise mock tests from at least 10 different sources to get a fair understanding of the type of questions.
  7. Work on the speed along with the accuracy, as each question must be solved in less than 50 secs to complete all question paper..

NPAT Exam 2022 Admit Card

SVKMs NMIMS releases the NPAT Exam admit card immediately after the candiadte schedules the exam date. Candidates can download the admit card as soon as it is generated after getting the NPAT slot. Also, one can visit the official website ( anytime before the exam date to download the admit card. Candidates can check the exam date, exam city and complete address of the test centre on the admit card. Candidates appearing for the exam need to carry a hard copy of the admit card at the exam centre. Failing to carry the  NPAT admit card, candidates will face rejection in entry to the NPAT exam centre. On-duty staff at the exam centre will check the details along with the photograph on the admit card with the candidate. In addition to this, candidates should carry an original as well as a photocopy of government-approved ID proof.

NMIMS NPAT Results 2022

SVKM's NMIMS will release the NPAT 2022 results on the official website of the university ( Candidates have to log in to check the NPAT results. The result is always released in the form of a merit list. Candidates can check the merit list of the NPAT exam using the details of registration ID and date of birth.
