Integrated Program in Management (IPM) Rohtak

IIM Rohtak, for the first time, has introduced a Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) for students who have passed out of class 12th/Higher Secondary or equivalent. The IPM programme at IIM Rohtak will consist of 15 terms which will be covered over 5 years with internship projects at the end of every academic year. Students will be awarded with an MBA degree on successfully completing the five years, however, should they wish to exit after completing the first three years, a degree of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) will be awarded instead.

IPM Rohtak Admission Criteria:

  • Candidates must hold a minimum of 60% in Standard X/ SSC and Standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations.
  • Candidates belonging from SC/ ST/ PwD category must hold a minimum of 55% % in Standard X/ SSC and Standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations.
  • Candidates must be 20 years of age (maximum) as on July 31, 2019.
  • Candidates who are in the final year of Standard XII/ HSC or equivalent that is likely to be completed by July 31, 2019 are also eligible to apply.

IPM Rohtak Selection Procedure:

Stage 1:

  • As part of the selection procedure, candidates will have to undergo the 'Aptitude Test' by IIM Rohtak which will test the Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and Proficiency in English of the candidate.
  • The questions will be multiple choice questions with 4 marks for every right answer and a negative marking of -1 for every wrong answer.
  • The online Aptitude Test will be held in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, Guwahati, Gwalior, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Noida, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi, Thiruvananthapuram, Varanasi and Visakhapatnam.

Stage 2:

Candidates who are shortlisted will proceed to the second stage, i.e., Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) will be conducted in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, and Kolkata (liable to change).

  • Written Aptitude Test (WAT): WAT is a 30-minutes duration test where-in candidates are required to write an essay on the topic given for WAT. The candidate's language ability, coherence, organization, and the ideas and arguments expressed will be assessed to examine the candidate's essay. This test is conducted for only those candidates who are shortlisted the Personal Interview (PI) round.
  • Personal Interview (PI): Those candidates who qualify the Aptitude Test round will be eligible for the Personal Interview. This is administered by the admissions committee.

IPM Rohtak Student Intake:

IIM Rohtak shall be admitting around 160 students for the IPM programme.
The reservation system will be as per the GOI norms after meeting the minimum eligibility criteria.

IPM Rohtak Programme Fees:

  • Indian candidates: The fees for IPM programme at IIM Rohtak is INR 4,10,000/- per annum for the first three years.
  • International candidates: The fees for IPM programme at IIM Rohtak is INR 6,20,000/- per annum for the first three years.
  • The programme fee for the 4th and 5th year will be as per the prevailing fees of IIM Rohtak's PGP programme.
