Libra College of Law was established in the year 2006 with the aim to develop all round personality of the students and inoculate in them the discipline, personal character physical, moral and ethical, so that they can become better and useful citizens and also be confident and bold to accept the challenges in the field of Law, be it Judiciary, Corporate World or the Law Courts. The college has sprawling green campus in the heart of Dehradun, and it offers students a holistic environment that encourages exposure to social, cultural, and physical activities that complement the top of the class legal education imparted by the college. The college has produced many judicial magistrates and top class lawyers in the short span of last 12 years.

Regular visits to lok adalat, social legal organizations, villages for legal awareness programmes
The College makes it compulsory to all students that they will visit the lok adalat on stipulated time during in the ongoing semester and also to participate in social legal organizations. The students are also made to visit the old age homes to interact the inhabitants and also make visits in the district jail to interact with the inmates.
