AIIMS Counselling Process 2019

Seat allotment for AIIMS has been released by the authorities on June 30 which can be downloaded by clicking here. AIIMS examination was conducted by the AIIMS Delhi on 25th and 26th May 2019. The examination is conducted to provide admissions to MBBS seats in 9 AIIMS in India. There are around 1157 seats available for admission to the MBBS programme in 16 AIIMS Institutions. Students who have been allotted a seat can download their offer letter from 1 July onwards. Students are required to have their Registration number, RUC, password for the purpose.

The first round of counselling process began from 26 June with the choice filling. The counselling is conducted only in online mode only. The choice filling began from 26 June and was closed by 5 PM on 27 June. After filling the choices, students are asked to lock the choices and a mock round is conducted to guide them about the process. They are allowed to edit or delete their choices after the mock round. The counselling would be conducted in 4 rounds.

The number of seats for admission in AIIMS in 2019 has increased due to addition of 7 new AIIMS Institutions this year. The total number of AIIMS offering admissions from this year would now become 16. The newly established AIIMS are:  AIIMS Mangalagiri, AIIMS Raebareli, AIIMS Gorakhpur, AIIMS Kalyani, AIIMS Bathinda, AIIMS Deogarh, and AIIMS Telangana. AIIMS Delhi has 7 seats reserved for foreign nationals.
