  • Candidate must have completed 17 years of age on or before 31 December of the year of admission to the MBBS Course.
  • Candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Bio-technology, taken together, at the final examination of the Pre-University Course or its equivalent.

MD / MS

  • MBBS Degree from any university recognised by MCI and completion of Compulsory Rotatory Internship on one year.
  • Registration with the Indian Medical Council.

Fellowship in Paediatric Nephrology

Eligibility: Candidates with MD/ DNB in Paediatrics preferably with 2 years of professional experience after Post Graduation.

 

Fellowship in Perinatal Medicine (Neonatology)

Eligibility: Candidates with MD/ DCH/ DNB in Paediatrics preferably with 2 years of professional experience after Post Graduation. 

 

Fellowship in Dermato Surgery

Eligibility: Candidates with MD/ DVD/ DNB in Dermatology preferably with 2 years of professional experience after Post Graduation. 

 

Fellowship in Paediatric Intensive Care

Eligibility: Candidates with MD/ DCH/ DNB in Paediatrics preferably with 2 years of professional experience after Post Graduation.

 

Fellowship in Arthroscopy & Sports Injury

Exam Pattern

MBBS:

  • Entrance Examination: NEET UG
  • Exam Mode: Offline
  • Number of Questions: Physics and Chemistry sections include 45 questions each, while the Biology section comprises 90 questions
  • Exam Duration: 3 hours
  • Marking Pattern: Candidates will be awarded 4 marks for each correct response while 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.

MD / MS:

  • Entrance Examination: NEET PG
  • Exam Mode: Computer Based Test
  • Exam Duration: 3 hours and 30 minutes
  • Number of Questions: 200
  • Exam Syllabus: 3 sections; clinical, pre-clinical and para-clinical subjects. 
  • Marking Pattern: Candidates will be awarded 4 marks for each correct response while 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.

DM / MCh:

  • Entrance Examination: NEET SS
  • Exam Mode: Computer Based Test
  • Exam Duration: for single paper: 1 hour 45 minutes and for combined paper: 3 hours
  • Number of Questions: 100
  • Exam Syllabus: Question paper shall be separately prepared for single and combined speciality.
  • Marking Pattern: Candidates will be awarded 4 marks for each correct response while 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.

Admission Process

MBBS:

  • Admission in MBBS is done through NEET UG. Eligible candidates will have to appear in National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by CBSE.

MD, MS, Diploma:

  • Eligible candidates will have to appear in NEET PG conducted by the National Board of Education (NBE) for admission in MD and MS. However, in order to meet the eligibility criteria candidates must hold Graduate Degree in MBBS from any recognized university.

DM, MCh:

  • Eligible candidates will have to appear in NEET SS conducted by Indian Medical Council. Candidates are then required to appear in personal interview conducted by the college. However, candidates must have studied and passed postgraduate course in relevant discipline.

Fellowship:

  • Selection is based on the eligibility criteria and interview as per RGUHS norms.

PhD:

  • Admission will be granted on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the written exam conducted by the institute.

Reservation Policy

  • Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category will be benefited by a 5% of marks relaxation in 12th standard to be considered eligible for the concerned course.
