Program Architecture

The Coforge Ltd-NU MBA Information Systems & Data Engineering is a two-year industry-linked program.

The program's curriculum is focused to nurture talented professionals to become next generation data engineering leaders who will drive business transformations.

1Year

The 1st year of program will have 4 terms, each approximately of 12 weeks, designed to develop industry focused information systems and data engineering knowledge and skills. These 4 terms are residential, and students will stay and gain knowledge at NU campus at Neemrana.

2Year

The 2nd year of program offers an internship at Coforge Ltd, where candidates will get an opportunity to work with global client base in real business situations, employing their skills.

We have made it easy for you to join by waiving off the upfront payments of university tuition and hostel fees for Coforge-NU MBA in Information Systems and Data Engineering. The fee will be an upfront interest-free loan by Coforge. All selected students will be paid a stipend of INR 10,000 per month during the first year on NU campus. Curriculum Outline

Management Program

This program will provide students strong understanding of business functions and vertical specific domain knowledge to help them in building business acumen to apply Data Engineering to specific business context.

Foundations of Information Systems and Data Engineering

There will be a series of courses spread across first 3 terms that will provide foundation to students for Business Analytics, Data Warehousing Concepts, Data Visualization, and Predictive Analytics skills. They will be able to build expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics process automation, DevOps tools and technique and Agile methodologies for analytical decision-making.

Building Leaders for Innovation and Change

There will be courses that will help students understand changes in organizational strategies, link strategy to performance through alignment of culture and people, develop their communication, effective writing, and leadership skills.

Information Systems & Data Engineering

The internship at Coforge Ltd in second year will provide a strong grounding to students to understand the business context for application of engineering.

Yes, NIIT University is a State University of the Government of Rajasthan, established by - The NIIT University, Neemrana (Alwar) Act, 2010 (Act No. 5 of 2010) dated 3rd April, 2010. State Universities are covered under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act.

AICTE approval is not required for a University. NIIT University is created by the State Government and has been notified through an Act of the Government of Rajasthan. It is a legally approved autonomous entity.

NU has an alliance with IBM in the field of Data Analytics and with PWC in the field of Cyber Security.

NU will be applying for NAAC Accreditation this year. There are prerequisites to be fulfilled before applying to NAAC. NU aims to apply after fulfilling them, this year.

In Engineering, it is 11.85 students per faculty and in Management, it is 10.58 students per faculty.

Does the University undertake external projects? Are they funded?

  • 1. Funded projects are undertaken by faculty in their respective areas of research.
  • 2. Funding is by Department of Science and Technology (DST), Department of Electronics and Information Technology (Deity), Department of Biotechnology (DBT) Government of India, etc.
  • 3. We have completed 6 projects, are working on 4 ongoing projects and have submitted 9 projects for funding.
  • 4. The average funding per project is in the range of INR 30-35 lakhs.

Nearly all our faculty are Ph.Ds barring a few. Those who do not possess a Ph.D are enrolled in doing their Ph.D.

We have 9-10 professors which more than adequately meets the norms laid down by AICTE.

The University faculty members encourage students to write papers for International Conferences. The University has also assisted students financially by contributing in Conference Registrations and accommodation charges. The University's emphasis on research is evident from the above.
