The section comprised 10 RC questions in total. There were two RC passages which had 5 questions in each passage. One RC passage was a comparative study between American and European banks. The second RC passage was on the value of currency in different countries. No vocabulary questions came from the RC passages. Most of the questions were inference based and so, took a long time to figure out the answer. Other topics that came in the exam included Sentence correction, Idiom usage, Fill in the blanks, Sentence improvement, Statement Connection, etc. No para jumble and cloze test questions came this time. One of the things which were unique in this year’s paper was that the topics were jumbled. A student after attempting one Fill in the Blank question had to solve the next question from another topic. Overall, the level of difficulty of the questions was moderate to difficult.
