      SAT Exam Cancellation Fees

      If you need to cancel your SAT registration, here's how it works:

      Step 1: Log in to your My SAT account and click on the registration you want to cancel.

      Step 2: Select "Cancel Registration" from the "I would like to" menu. Before confirming, check the change and cancellation deadline for your test date on our SAT exam dates page.

      Step 3: Pay the applicable fee, listed in the table above, if any.

      You'll receive a full refund of your registration fee, minus the cancellation fee, as long as you cancel by Thursday 11:59 p.m. ET before test day. Cancel after that deadline, and you'll pay the higher late cancellation fee instead.

      SAT Exam Rescheduling Fees

      There's no direct "reschedule" option for changing your test date. If you want to move to a different SAT date, you must cancel your current registration and register again for the new date. So, rescheduling effectively means paying the cancellation fee plus a fresh registration fee for your new test date.
