State Bank of India Probationary Officers Main Exam (July 20, 2019): Analysis

All those who qualified the Prelims of SBI PO 2019, appeared for the Main exam today. All the other sections, except the English Language section, were available bilingually, that is, in both English and Hindi. There was a negative marking of one-fourth marks assigned to that question for every incorrect answer.
SBI PO Main Exam 2019 was divided into two parts - Objective Test and Descriptive Test.

Objective Test was an objective online test consisting of 155 questions, which had to be answered in 180 minutes.

The DI sets were calculation based and time consuming. The overall difficulty level of this section was moderate to difficult.

General/Economy/Banking Awareness:

The overall difficulty level of this section was moderate. Most of the questions were from Current Affairs & News of last 3-4 months, Government Schemes, Banking Awareness, Financial Awareness and Static GK. Current Affairs dominated the section.

1 letter with a choice of 3 topics (Memory based):
(1) Write a letter to your senior thanking him for good career advice.
(2) Write a letter to the Bank Manager for issuing a cheque book.
(3) Write a letter to the Bank Manager requesting him to open a cash counter.
