About SBI PO Exam

State Bank of India, the biggest bank in the nation is also among the biggest recruiters when it comes to banking sector. In SBI, CRPD (Central Recruitment and Promotion Department) holds responsibility of the complete recruitment process for State Bank of India and for Associate Group of State Bank of India. The recruitment is done at all India level, which means a final recruited candidate may be posted to any location in India.

The recruitment process includes three stages:
1. Preliminary ExaminationAn online objective test having 100 questions to be attempted in 1 hour.
2. Main ExaminationAn online objective test having 155 questions to be attempted in 3 hours. The main exam is followed by the descriptive online test of 30 minutes with 50 marks.
3. InterviewThose who qualify the Main exam will be called for Group Exercises and Interview.

The Preliminary examination is only qualifying in nature. Candidates will be shortlisted for appointment on the basis of Main examination and Group Discussion & Interview.

SBI PO Eligibility Criteria 2017

Candidates applying for the SBI PO 2017 must fulfill the following criteria:

Nationality:Indian citizen

Age Limit (As on 01.04.2017): 21 to 30 years

Educational Qualification (As on 01.07.2017): Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Final year students can also apply.

Emoluments & Salary Structure
The total compensation per annum on CTC basis would be a minimum of Rs. 7.93 lacs and maximum of Rs. 12.95 lacs depending on the place of posting.
