Staff Selection Commission - Combined Graduate Level Examination (SSC CGL) is an examination conducted to recruit staff to various Group B and Group C posts in ministries, departments and organizations of the Government of India.
The examination consists of a Preliminary examination (Tier-I) followed by a Main examination (Tier-II). A descriptive paper (Tier-III) of 100 marks is conducted in place of interviews. Tier-IV is Data Entry Skill Test (DEST)/ Computer Proficiency Test (CPT), which is qualifying in nature.
