The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification for the upcoming SSC Common Graduate Level Examination (CGLE). The application form is available on its official website. The last date to apply for the CGL examination is January 31, 2021.
SSC conducts the CGL exam every year to recruit suitable candidates for various Group B and Group C posts into various departments, Ministries, and offices under the Government of India. Some of the posts for which the exam is conducted include:
Assistants in Ministries/Departments, Attached and Subordinate office of the Govt. of India
Inspectors of Central Excise & Customs
Inspectors of Income Tax
Preventive Officers in Customs
Examiner in Customs
Sub-Inspectors in Central Bureau of Narcotics & CBI
Assistant Enforcement Officer in Directorate of Enforcement, Department of Revenue.

While considering the SSC CGL 2020 eligibility, there are four important criteria that a candidate must fulfill. These four parameters are discussed below:
The first parameter is the citizenship of the candidate. The candidate must be a citizen of India to apply for CGL 2020.
The second parameter is the age limit which is to be considered from 01 January 2021. There are different sets of age limits for different posts in SSC CGL Exam 2020-21, which are tabulated below:

The last and final criterion is physical fitness. There are certain requisite Physical Standards for Inspector (Central Excise/ Examiner/Preventive Officer), Sub-Inspector in CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation), and Sub-Inspector in NIA (National Investigation Agency).
