GS Paper 2 2025 Analysis

UPSC CSAT 2025, also known as General Studies Paper 2, had a total of 80 questions based on Quantitative Ability, Reasoning, and Verbal Ability

There were 34 questions in quantitative ability, 29 in the verbal section, and 17 in the reasoning section. The overall difficulty level of CSAT 2025 leaned towards the difficult side. 

Questions required a good understanding of concepts and were time-consuming and lengthy.  

The majority of the questions of the quantitative ability section were above average difficulty level, thus making the overall difficulty level on a difficult side. The main topics tested were Number system, Percentage, LCM/HCF & Averages. 

The majority of the questions of the reasoning section were Moderate & Easy, thus making the overall difficulty level on a moderate level. The main topics tested were Series based, Coding decoding & Data sufficiency. 

The majority of the questions of the verbal ability section were Moderate or difficult, thus making the overall difficulty level Difficult. The section was lengthy & having more of Level 1 & level 2 pessages.
