PROGRAM Overview

The Global MBA programme is a double degree offered by Xavier University in India and emlyon business school in France, preparing you to be an international manager in this agile age of globalisation.

The intensive full-time 2 year programme is focused on helping you reach your professional goals through quality education, hands-on experience and international exposure. Through an emphasis on an entrepreneurial mindset, action learning projects and international diversity both in the student body and faculty, you will develop the skills needed to achieve your own individual success. You will spend the first year of the programme at XAVIER-EMLYON Business School located in the campus of Xavier University in Bhubaneswar, India, an internationally recognised University dedicated to enabling people to live extraordinary lives and be light for the world.

The second year will be held at emlyon business school in Lyon, France. emlyon is a business school recognised for preparing its students for a successful career through action-based learning, exposure to companies and guest speaks and through helping them develop an entrepreneurial mindset, a skill that is necessary to be successful in today’s turbulent international business environment.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• A candidate applying to this program must have at least 50% or equivalent in aggregate in graduation from a recognized University in India or abroad.
• Work Experience: Applicants with more than 3 years of relevant work experience will be considered for the Global MBA track.
• Additionally, applicants must have a valid score in ANYONE of the following tests: CAT or XAT or GMAT, GRE or TAGE MAGE.
• Candidates who do not have an English medium educational background would be required to submit their English proficiency scores during application (TOEIC or TOEFL or IELTS or Cambridge CPE or PTE)

SELECTION CRITERIA

• The admissions team will shortlist applications based on past academic performance, aptitude test scores, work experience, extracurricular activities and other achievements.The candidate should have at least 3 years work experience.
• Only shortlisted candidates are required to pay the Evaluation Fee and visit one of the evaluation centres at Bhubaneswar, Mumbai, Bengaluru, New Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, and Hyderabad for further evaluation. This includes writing essays and panel interviews.
• Only candidates who have been offered admission will be notified via email.

• 40% - 650 Score and above in GMAT, 90 percentile and above in CAT/ XAT
• 30% - 600 Score and above in GMAT, 85 percentile and above in CAT/ XAT
• First Indian State/Nationality Scholarship - 30%
• Executive Woman Scholarship - 30%
• Early bird scholarship - 30% (for first 50 students)
• Alumni Recommendation - 10%
• Chairman's Scholarship - 10%
