Exam tips for IBPS PO (Prelims) exam 2017

  • To be eligible for the IBPS PO (Main) exam 2017, you need to score at least 45-50 marks in IBPS PO Preliminary exam 2017.
  • There are three sections namely, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability of 35 marks and English Language of 30 marks. Irrespective of your strengths, it is important that you clear the sectional cut-offs along with the overall cut-off.
  • Do not try to attempt the entire paper. Out of the 100 questions, you must solve 50+ questions with almost 100% accuracy.
  • Depending on the difficulty level of each section and your comfort level, you can increase or decrease number of questions. However, set aside a target to attempt at least 45+ questions.
  • Follow the objective approach .i.e. the option based approach. This is one of the biggest tools to score 50+ in IBPS PO Preliminary exam 2017
