IIMB UG Admission Process 2026

Candidates who meet the IIM Bangalore UG eligibility criteria can apply for the prestigious undergraduate programs.

The selection follows a rigorous, three-stage process:

Stage 1: National-level Entrance Exam

Eligible candidates must appear for the national-level exam- IIM Bangalore Undergraduate Admissions Test-  which evaluates quantitative ability, logical reasoning, and language proficiency.

Stage 2: Personal Interview

Shortlisted candidates are invited for a personal interview, assessing communication skills, problem-solving ability, and overall personality.

Stage 3: Final Selection

The final admission decision is based on cumulative performance across the entrance exam and interview, ensuring a holistic evaluation of each aspirant.

The weightage for each component is given below:

• Entrance Exam: 60%
• Personal Interview: 40%

Two new four-year Bachelor of Science (Honours) undergraduate programs will be offered by IIM Bangalore from August 2026: one in Data Science with a minor in Economics and Business, and another in Economics with a minor in Data Science. Tentative exam details are as follows:
