If you receive an offer via email, you’ll have to confirm it as soon as possible by responding to the email as a mark of acceptance. However, if one is not able to accept the offer within the specified time or misses it for any reason, it will be given to another candidate on the waiting list.

The IIM-C merit list informs candidates whether they’ve received an admission offer from IIM Calcutta, are on the waitlist, or have been rejected.
