DU UG Admission Process 2024 | Subject-wise Top Colleges of DU
The University of Delhi, popularly known as DU is a premium institute for UG, PG, and research studies in the country. This is also the most popular destination for students nationwide who seek to pursue a UG degree. Every year lakhs (3-5 lakh, approx) of students apply to DU for a total of 70K (approx) UG seats across its 91 constituent colleges.
Prior to 2022, all DU UG admissions were entirely merit-based (class 12 Board results) or through entrance conducted by the university. However, the introduction of CUET in 2022 has revamped the UG admission scenario not only for DU but for all the 250+ universities confirmed to participate in CUET 2024. Commencing 2022, UG admission to all the participating universities of CUET will be based on the CUET score of the students and not their class 12 Board marks. All aspiring students who are seeking admission to any of the premium top colleges of DU to pursue their UG degree in 2024 must apply for CUET in 2024. The exam (CUET) is conducted by the NTA at a national level. The CUET 2024 application form is expected to be released by NTA in the month of February 2024. It has already announced the dates for CUET 2024, which will be conducted between May 15 and 31, 2024.
