CUET Application Form 2024

The NTA is expected to release the CUET application form 2024 in the middle of January, and the CUET form last date will be tentative till the last week of March. It has already announced the exam dates for CUET 2024 earlier. When the CUET form is released, candidates can apply for CUET (UG) through online mode only. Students aspiring to take UG admissions in any of the participating universities (250+ in total) across the country should check all the relevant updates and important dates for the CUET application form. The detailed notification regarding the CUET 2024 application form, CUET registration, and CUET application fees is expected to be released soon. The tentative timeline for the same has been tabulated below.

CUET 2024 Application Form Dates

Aspiring candidates must go through the CUET 2024 information brochure and read the instructions carefully (including how to fill out the CUET Application Form) before completing the form. Candidates who will not abide by the instructions shall be disqualified.

Things to keep in mind while filling out the CUET application form 2024:

• Keep the required documents ready along with a scanned copy of the photograph, signature, and category certificate (if applicable).
• The payment for the CUET 2024 application form is to be done online mode only.
• The CUET application form of a candidate will not be accepted by exam authorities till the CUET application fee is paid successfully.
• Upon successful CUET registration and completion of the CUET 2024 application form, candidates will receive a confirmation email and SMS on their registered email address and phone number. So, provide a valid email address and phone number.
• While choosing the test center for CUET 2024, one must be careful as no change may be allowed once the form has been submitted.
• After filling out the CUET application form, download a copy of it and take a print of the CUET form for any future reference.
• Always remember and be aware of the CUET form last date.

The first step of the CUET 2024 application form is the CUET registration. Students are advised to provide valid credentials while filling out the CUET registration form and cross-check them before submitting. Candidates will not be allowed to edit this later.

CUET Registration 2024

Register for the CUET application form online  and don’t forget to note down the system-generated application number. The candidate should provide the required details correctly while filling out the CUET 2024 application form. They are also required to create a password and subsequently choose a security question and enter their answer. The security question is used to reset the password in case students forget it.

Once the candidates submit their personal details, an application number will be generated, which will be used to complete the remaining steps of the CUET application form. For subsequent CUET logins, the candidates can log in directly with their respective system-generated CUET 2024 application form number and the password created by them.

Candidates must follow the following steps to complete and submit the CUET registration form successfully:

• Step 1: Click on the “Register” button for new CUET registration - 2024 - CUET (UG) 2004 portal
• Step 2: Download and read the Information Bulletin carefully before beginning CUET registration and the CUET application form-filling process.
• Step 3: Fill out the CUET registration form which includes personal details and present address. After that, choose the password, enter the security pin, and click on submit.
• Step 4: Validate the details in the preview application section and then click on “submit and send OTP on mobile”. If required, you can edit your credentials at this stage.
• Step 5: Complete the verification process by entering the OTP received on your registered mobile number/email ID.

After you complete the CUET registration process, you can log in to your account by entering the user ID (CUET application form number) and password set while completing your CUET 2024 registration and fill out the form before the CUET form last date.

CUET Password & How to Reset it

The Password chosen by the students must be as per the following policy.

• Password must be 8 to 13 characters long
• It must have at least one upper-case alphabet
• It must have at least one lowercase alphabet
• It must have at least one numeric value
• The password must have at least one special character eg. !@#$%^&*-_

How to reset your password if you forget it ? The following options are available to reset the password set by the candidate.

• Using the security question and its answer, that a candidate chooses during filling out the form.
• Using a verification code sent via text message (SMS) to candidates registered mobile no.
• Using a reset link, that will be sent via email to candidates' registered email address.

How to Fill Out CUET 2024 Application Form?

To fill out the CUET application form 2024, candidates must log in with their application number and password. Here, candidates will be required to submit various key details including personal details, providing details of educational qualification, choice of program and universities, exam city choice, and upload the photo, signature, and category certificates (if applicable).

Before you start filling out the CUET application form candidates must go through a few details and check them thoroughly for their convenience.

• Subject combination and eligibility for any particular course
• Complete list of participating universities
• List of courses offered by any particular university
• Course-wise top colleges of various universities

Step 1: Go to the official website of CUET

• The CUET 2024 application form will be made available on the official website of CUET. Go there and download the information brochure to know the CUET form last date and other important details and guidelines before filling out the CUET application form. Read it carefully before you apply.
• Next, log in using the credentials created while registering. Students must remember the CUET form last date to fill out the form before the deadline and pay the CUET application fees.

Step 2: CUET application form brief

• The CUET 2024 application form will largely require the following details- personal details, qualifying exam details, educational details, correspondence address, course and university preference, exam center choice, photograph, signature, and declaration.
• Fill in all the details with utmost diligence. Make sure you double-check the spelling of all the credentials you filled in.

Step 3: Course & university preference

• The course and university preference part in the CUET application form must be filled with great care. Go through the detailed eligibility criteria for any course and university before applying.
• Candidates will first need to select the universities of their choice. And after that, they need to mark choices for (UG) courses in the universities. Candidates can choose as many courses and universities as they like (there is no limit). Students needn’t opt for all the universities in the CUET 2024 application form to be eligible for it.

Step 4: Language & subject choice

• At this stage, students will also be required to mention the language that they want to opt for and the domain-specific subject that they wish to select. (You can select a maximum of 10 subjects from all three sections)
• Next, students will also have to select the preference of their exam center. A student can add up to 4 preferences. [Candidates choosing any regional language as a subject should opt for the city/center selection accordingly. Ex. The Marathi language will only be available in Maharashtra and not in any other state]

Step 5: Uploading documents

• Students will also need to upload a few scanned documents like photographs, signatures, and other supporting documents (in the case of category students) to complete the CUET form and pay the CUET application fees.
• Keep the scanned photo and signature ready as per the prescribed specifications (Photograph Size: 10KB – 200KB, Signature Size: 4KB – 30KB, Category certificate - 50KB - 300KB, and the format should be JPG/JPEG).
• Once uploaded, preview the entire CUET form, confirm credentials (email ID and password), and move to the next step.
• Candidates should check their photograph and signature before submitting the CUET 2024 application form. In case the photograph or signature is blurred or not visible to identify the identity of the candidate then, the application will be rejected.

Step 6: CUET application fees

• Once a student has filled out the entire CUET application form, they will be required to pay the CUET application fees.
• The CUET application fee can be submitted online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, or Paytm Services. Processing charges and GST as applicable are chargeable to the candidate (in addition to the examination fee) by the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway Integrator
• All the CUET forms must have a successful payment status. Hence, make sure to pay the CUET application fees before the CUET form last date.
• Once the CUET application fee is paid, students must print the confirmation page and keep it for further reference.

CUET Application Form Correction Window

All the candidates must note that a short temporary window for CUET 2024 application form correction will be opened at a later date. If they have provided any wrong information or made any other mistake, it can be corrected during this time. Candidates need to remain alert and updated so that they don’t miss out on this correction window to make changes in their CUET form.

CUET Application Form Document Specification

What After Filling Out the CUET Form?

The selection process for CUET begins once the exams are over and the CUET results are declared. All the UG admissions will only be done on the basis of the CUET scorecard of the candidate. Ensure the following details after you have successfully filled out the CUET application form.

• Download the CUET admit card and check for any discrepancies. If any error is found, immediately inform the authorities.
• Appear for the exam on the exact exam date and center as notified in the admit card.

DU then considered the class 12 Board marks (best of 3, 4, and 5 consecutively), and even a tie then the older student gets the seat. Therefore, there is a certain importance for the Board marks too if a student is aiming for DU UG admission.
