- All the questions in the paper will be compulsory (no optional questions).
- The total number of subjects has been reduced to 37.
- Students can choose a maximum of 5 subjects for their CUET exam
- Now, a student can choose any subject in CUET (UG), regardless of whether or not they have studied it in class 12.
A total of 26 subjects have been omitted from the CUET subject list. Students can check the updated list of subjects for CUET 2027, which is published on the NTA CUET official website (https://cuet.nta.nic.in/cuetug-2026-syllabus/).
Students must take note of the following changes and adjust their study plans accordingly. These significant exam pattern changes will make students ponder and re-devise their preparation strategy.
