The principal aim of this program is to produce competent, creative and ethical designers/entrepreneurs who are intellectually mature, ecologically sensitive and socially responsible. The program works towards creating employable graduates who are well grounded in their knowledge and skills in products, design, aesthetics, forms, craft & manufacturing and communication aspects of product design.

NIFT: Test pattern and selection procedure for Bachelor's Degree Programmes:

  • GAT (General Ability Test) - 40%
  • CAT (Creative Ability Test) - 40%
  • Situation Test - 20%

Pearl Academy: Test pattern and selection

  • Negative marking for objective questions is 0.25 marks per question.
  • The admission to the undergraduate program of the institute takes place on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in the written entrance test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
