Programmes Offered at MDI Gurgaon

MDI Gurgaon offers a comprehensive range of management programmes, full-time, executive, part-time, and online.

1. PGDM - Flagship Programme

The PGDM is MDI Gurgaon's flagship two-year, full-time, residential programme. It is approved by AICTE and equivalent to an MBA. The programme covers core management disciplines Strategy, Finance, Marketing, Operations, HR, with flexibility for specialisation in the second year. Admission is through CAT 2025 scores, followed by WAT, GD, PI, and Behavioural Assessment.

2. PGDM-HRM (Human Resource Management)

A two-year, full-time programme with specialisation in Human Resource Management. Designed to develop HR professionals with strategic and analytical capabilities. Shares the same CAT 2025-based admission process as the PGDM.

3. PGDM-IB (International Business)

The PGDM-IB is a two-year programme focused on International Business, with a unique dual degree component. Students are allocated to one of two French partner institutions, emlyon Business School (Lyon) or ESCP Business School (Paris), for the international component.

4. PGDM-Business Analytics

MDI launched the PGDM-Business Analytics programme to develop professionals skilled in data science, AI, and analytics applied to business decision-making. The inaugural 2023-25 batch secured placements at firms including McKinsey & Co., JP Morgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, and Maruti Suzuki.

5. PGDM-BM (Business Management - Executive)

A one-year, full-time executive management programme for working professionals with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification work experience. Admitted through CAT 2025, GMAT, or XAT 2026.

6. PGDM-BA (Business Administration - Part-Time)

A two-year, part-time weekend programme for working professionals who want to pursue management education without leaving their jobs. Classes conducted on weekends.

7. PGDM-PPM (Public Policy & Management)

A two-year programme focused on public policy, governance, and management, designed for professionals looking to bridge the public and private sectors. Minimum 3 years of post-qualification work experience required.

8. PGDM Online

A two-year online management programme approved by AICTE. The programme allows participants to earn a PGDM, as mandated by AICTE for non-university institutions. The programme may be granted MBA equivalence by AIU in due course.


Eligibility Criteria for MDI Gurgaon Programmes

PGDM-HRM

CAT 2025 mandatory. 

PGDM-IB

Min. 50% in X, XII, and Bachelor's degree of minimum 4 years duration. A 3-year Bachelor's degree is NOT eligible for PGDM-IB.

Minimum 1 year of full-time post-qualification work experience as on 31 January 2026. CAT 2025 mandatory. Internship, articleship, and apprenticeship do not count as work experience.

PGDM-Business Analytics

Same as PGDM above - min. 50% in X, XII, and Bachelor's (min. 3 years)

CAT 2025 mandatory. Final-year students eligible on same conditions as PGDM.

PGDM-BM (Executive)

Min. 50% in X, XII, and Bachelor's degree (any discipline)

Minimum 3 years of full-time post-qualification work experience as on 31 March 2026. CAT 2025/GMAT/XAT 2026 required.

PGDM-BA (Part-Time)

Min. 50% in X, XII, and Bachelor's degree (any discipline)

Minimum 3 years of full-time post-qualification work experience as on 30 April 2026. Valid CAT/GMAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA/CMAT score required.

PGDM-PPM

Min. 50% in X, XII, and Bachelor's degree (min. 3 years, any discipline)

Minimum 3 years of post-qualification work experience as on 30 April 2025. Valid CAT/GMAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA/CMAT score required.

FPM (Fellow Programme)

Master's degree or equivalent from a recognised institution

FPM entrance examination + interview.

MDI Gurgaon Admission Process 2026-28

The admission process for PGDM, is described below for the year 2026-2028. 

As per MDI, Gurgaon admission policy: 'The final selection of the candidates will be based on weightages of CAT-2025 scores, WAT-GD-PI, Behavioral Assessment test, Academic merit, Academic diversity, Work experience, and social diversity, etc.'

Eligibility requires a 4-year Bachelor's degree (3-year degree not accepted) and a minimum 1 year of work experience.

Personal Interviews for the 2026-28 batch will be conducted in April 2026. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend WAT, GD, PI, and Behavioural Assessment at MDI's campus. Final selection results will be communicated in April 2026.
