Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a widely recognized MBA entrance exam that helps candidates get admission to more than 1500 colleges for full-time MBA/PGDM degree programs.

CMAT is a 180-minute-long computer-based test that ensures that a student is eligible to enter the world of management through an MBA. Candidates' caliber is thoroughly analyzed on various grounds i.e. analytical, logical, verbal, and statistical. The CMAT exam comprises 5 sections which are:

CMAT 2024 Application Fee

CMAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria

In order to be eligible for CMAT 2024, students need to fulfill the following criteria:

Recipient of a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
Final-year students whose results will be declared before the start of the academic year can also apply.
Must be a citizen of India.
There is no age restriction

CMAT 2024 Exam Pattern

CMAT is conducted online
The CMAT paper consists of five sections: Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness, and Innovation & Entrepreneurship.
The overall duration of the test is 3 hours
There is no sectional time limit in the paper
Each question carries 4 marks and every incorrect response draws a penalty of 1 mark

CMAT 2024 Registration

The registration needs to be done on the NTA CMAT 2023 website
Students need to submit their basic information and register for CMAT 2023
Next, students need to complete their application
After completing the application form, students need to make the payment for final submission

CMAT 2024 Admit Card

The Admit Card for CMAT 2024 will be announced tentatively in April 2024 on the official website. The candidates will be required to carry a printout of the admit card to the exam center. Also, the candidates are advised to read the instructions mentioned on the admit card carefully and adhere to the same during the examination.

CMAT 2024 Centers

The students opting for the exam have the leverage of selecting up to 4 test cities of their preference and the system generates one of those cities and allocates it to the student. NTA has been responsible for managing the online deliverance of CMAT across Prometric centers since 2019.

CMAT 2024: Important Guidelines

It is mandatory for candidates to carry the listed documents below. The candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam center without the same.

Carry the printout of the Admit Card
One passport-size photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form) is required for the attendance sheet at the center.
Any one of the authorized photo IDs (must be original, valid and non-expired) - PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ Ration Card
PwD certificate issued by the authorized medical officer, if claiming relaxation under the PwD category
