The NMAT 2021 Notification has been released as of 3rd August 2021.The NMAT 2021 exam can be taken across an 75-day test taking window starting from 14th October 2021 to 27th December 2021. The NMAT 2021 Registration Window is between 3rd August 2021 and 10th November 2021. An additional late registration window will be opened after the initial period of registration in case any candidate was unable to register earlier between 11th November and 15th November.

NMAT 2021 Important Dates

The timeline for NMAT 2021, which has been confirmed by the NMAT 2021 notification, is given below:

  • Registration open - 3rd August to 10th November 2021
  • Scheduling - 3rd August to 17th November 2021
  • Late Registration - 11th November to 15th November 2021
  • Retake Registration- 15th October to 24th December 2021
  • Rescheduling - 3rd August to 24th December 2021
  • Retake Scheduling: 15th October to 24th December 2021
  • Exam Delivery - 14th October to 27th December 2021
  • Result Submission - First or Second week of January 2022

NMAT 2021 Application Fee

NMAT notification offers both in-time and late registration. Students registering in the late registration window will be charged an extra fee in addition to the fee payable during the normal registration period. Post registration, students will have the option of scheduling their exam in the given 88-day period. Students can also reschedule their exam by paying the rescheduling fee. The application fee for NMAT 2021 is:

  • Registration fee: INR 2300 + Taxes
  • Late Registration fee: INR 2800 + Taxes
  • Application to Schools (more than 5): INR 200 + Taxes (for each additional school)
  • Reschedule: INR 1200 + Taxes
  • Additional Score Reports (beyond first five): INR 200 (per score report) + Taxes

NMAT 2021 Admit Card

The NMAT 2021 Admit Card will be available for download in the student’s dashboard 48 hours after successfully scheduling the NMAT 2021 Exam. It will be mandatory to carry the NMAT Admit Card along with the required IDs, scheduling confirmation letter, and photocopy of the IDs that will be allowed to write the exam.

NMAT Rescheduling

Candidates have the option to reschedule their NMAT 2021 exam 72 hours prior to the scheduled exam slot. Rescheduling will be subject to availability of a time slot on a different date. Candidates will have to pay an additional fee of INR 1200 + Applicable taxes for the same. After passing the 72-hour mark students will not be able to reschedule the exam.

When to appear for NMAT?

If you want to appear only once for NMAT

CAT is likely to be held in the last week of November 2021, IIFT in the first week of December 2021 and SNAP in the second week of December and in the first week of January. Depending on the exams that you want to appear for and your preparedness, you need to schedule NMAT such that there is sufficient gap between two exams.

If you want to appear twice for NMAT

Schedule your first attempt latest by 10th November, so that there is at least a gap of two weeks between CAT and NMAT. You should get to know your score by the first week of December. If you are not satisfied by the score, you can appear for a retake in December.


If you want to appear thrice for NMAT

Schedule your first attempt in October. You should get your scores by November second week. If you are not happy with the score, you can appear for a retake in November. The retake score should be available by early December. If you are still not happy, you can take the NMAT again in December.
