When to appear for NMAT?

If you want to appear only once for NMAT

CAT is likely to be held on 24th November, IIFT on 1st December and SNAP on 15th December. Depending on the exams that you want to appear for and your preparedness, you need to schedule NMAT such that there is sufficient gap between two exams.

If you want to appear twice for NMAT

Schedule your first attempt in Window 1, 2 or 3 (latest by 10 November, so that there is at least a gap of two weeks between CAT and NMAT). You should get to know your score by the first week of December. If you are not satisfied by the score, you can appear for a retake in December.

If you want to appear thrice for NMAT

Schedule your first attempt in Window 1. You should get your scores by November second week. If you are not happy with the score, you can appear for a retake in Window 3. The retake score should be available by early December. If you are still not happy, you can take the NMAT again in Window 5.
