SNAP Exam Pattern 2026: The Symbiosis International University (SIU) prescribes the SNAP paper pattern. The exam pattern for SNAP 2026 is expected to be similar to that of SNAP 2025. The SNAP 2026 exam is likely to take place in December and is conducted in three different slots each year, so aspirants must pace their preparation accordingly to secure a place at their dream B-schools.
The expected SNAP 2026 exam pattern includes three sections with the following question allocation:
Understanding the SNAP 2026 syllabus is equally important for candidates to plan their preparation effectively. According to the SNAP 2026 test pattern, a total of 60 minutes is allotted to solve 60 questions. Being aware of the question distribution across sections can help them strategise their study approach and prepare accordingly. It's worth noting that there is no specific time limit for any section, which allows SNAP takers to prepare strategically.
Understanding the exam pattern in advance is immensely beneficial for getting a fair idea of what to expect in the actual exam. It is expected that SNAP paper pattern will be same as that of SNAP 2025. Candidates are advised to check the official SNAP website once the SNAP Notification is released in August.

SIU shortlists candidates for admission based on their performance in various selection assessments as part of SNAP 2025. These assessments include the SNAP exam, Group Exercise, Personal Interview, and Writing Ability Test (WAT).
After the common SNAP exam for management programs, affiliated institutes conduct their specific admission evaluation processes, each with a different weightage assigned to the selection rounds. The SNAP exam (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) is a management aptitude test conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for admission to its postgraduate management programs across various Symbiosis institutes in India. The SNAP exam assesses a candidate's aptitude for management studies, including their English language skills, analytical and logical reasoning abilities, and quantitative skills.
The selection process for SNAP 2026 involves three parts: a group exercise (GE), a personal interview (PI), and a writing ability test (WAT). Your SNAP score will account for 50% of your overall score, your PI will account for 40%, and your GE and WAT will each account for 10%.
While all three sections of the SNAP exam have their own challenges, in comparison, the Analytical & Logical Reasoning section typically proves to be more rigorous than the General English and Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency sections, as seen in the past year papers.
Candidates are permitted up to three attempts at the SNAP exam. They have the flexibility to take the exam once, twice, or thrice, and the highest score among the attempts will be considered for the admission shortlisting process by SIU institutes.
