  • Candidates holding a bachelor’s degree of a minimum of three years duration in any discipline or its equivalent with at least 60% aggregate marks and having studied at least one subject in mathematics or statistics at the high school (10+2) or higher level.
  • Candidates with prior exposure to a programming language are desirable.
  • Students who are in the final year of their Qualifying Degree programme are also eligible to apply, provided they can submit the original copies of the results by 1st October 2025 and fulfil other criteria.

  • Online application will close at 11:59 PM on February 17, 2025. The application fee is INR 3300/-, mode of payment is online and has been provided at the online application link.
  • The application fee is non-refundable and not-transferable.

The BAAT examination centers list will be updated soon. BITS Pilani reserves the right to change/edit the centers based on the institute's operational feasibility and other prevailing guidelines.

Scholarship Policy

All the international students admitted under the scheme will be provided merit scholarships in the form of tuition fee waiver as follows:

  • Tuition fee waiver is based on merit: Top 4% students will get 80% waiver, next 10% will get 50%, next 20% will get 30% waiver, and remaining will get 15% Tuition fee waiver. All fee waiver decisions will be announced after admissions are completed.
  • Subsequently all scholarships will be for a semester only.
  • The student must maintain minimum academic performance to be eligible to receive scholarships. The specific conditions are as follows:
    For further scholarship eligibility during subsequent semesters while studying in BITS, a student has to score a Minimum CGPA of 8.0 to claim 80% tuition fee waiver, and a minimum of 6.0 CGPA for claiming any other scholarship level (50, 30, or 15%) while remaining in top 4, 10, 20, and 66% percentage respectively.
  • Merit scholarships will be provided only for the normal duration of the programme.
