SRCC UG Admission 2025: Shri Ram College of Commerce, popularly referred to as SRCC by the students, is undoubtedly one of the best colleges for Commerce in India. The college was founded in 1926 by industrialist Lala Shri Ram and is affiliated with the University of Delhi (DU). Shri Ram College of Commerce offers students various UG, PG, and PG Diploma courses. However, it is primarily known for its Commerce, Management, and Economics courses. NAAC has accredited the college with a Grade 'A++'. NIRF 2024 ranked SRCC 19th in the overall college ranking.

The list of SRCC courses includes full-time degrees in the fields of Commerce, Management and Economics. However, the UG level only offers Commerce and Economics. For SRCC UG admission 2025, students must complete the CUET registration, fill out the application form, and appear in the test to acquire a valid scorecard. SRCC Fees - Course-wise

How to get into SRCC 

Beginning in 2022, CUET will be the sole gateway for UG admission to all the constituent colleges of DU and all the UG programs they offer. Therefore, if any students aspire to pursue a UG degree from this top college in the country, they must apply and appear in CUET UG. Additionally, they have to meet the program-wise eligibility conditions set by both the university and CUET to be eligible to secure admission.

SRCC UG Admission Process

For SRCC UG admission, students must fill out the CUET application form, take the test on the given date & time, and follow further instructions. The step-by-step process of the SRCC UG admission is mentioned below:

Step 1: Candidates must register and fill out the CUET 2025 application form on the official website of CUET.

Step 2: Make the required payment and submit the CUET application fees.

Step 2: Download the CUET admit card (when available) and write the test.

Step 3: Perform to the best and get a valid CUET scorecard (when results are declared).

Step 4: Check out the DU CSAS portal dates and register by paying a small registration fee to take part in the counselling process.

Step 5: Pay the admission fees and book choices when a college is allotted via the CSAS portal.

Aabhaas Hajela Memorial Scholarship

  • A scholarship of ₹25,000 per annum is instituted in the memory of Aabhaas Hajela, a former college student from the PwD category, by his father Mr. Vivek Hajela.

C. B. Gupta Memorial Scholarship

  • One need-cum-merit scholarship of ₹12,000/- per annum is awarded to a first-year student B.Com (Hons.).

College Scholarship (Need Based)

  • Need-cum-merit scholarships of ₹12,000/- per annum are awarded to the economically needy students of B.Com. (Hons.), B. A. (Hons.) Economics and M.Com.

Envision Scholarship

  • The Envision Scholarship of ₹18,000/- per annum is awarded to a student of B.Com. (Hons.) III year for securing the highest marks in the second year.

Kanwar Lal Memorial Scholarship

  • One need-cum-merit scholarship of ₹12,000/- per annum is awarded to a student of B.Com. (Hons.) or B. A. (Hons.) Economics.

Manoj Kumar Memorial Scholarship

  • One need-cum-merit scholarship of ₹12,000/- per annum is awarded to a third-year student of B.Com. (Hons.).

C. Shukla Scholarship

  • Two need-cum-merit scholarships of ₹12,000 each per annum are available for B.Com (Hons.) II-year students secured, on average, at least 65% marks in the previous two semesters of examinations and had a minimum of 75% attendance in the previous year.

Prem Handa Memorial Scholarship

  • One need-based scholarship of ₹12,000/- per annum is awarded to a III year student of B.Com (Hons.).

Pt. Kanahya Lal Dayawanti Punj Scholarship

  • One need-based scholarship of ₹12,000/- per annum is awarded to a second-year student of B.Com (Hons.).

SRCC Alumni Association Scholarship

  • One need-cum-merit scholarship of ₹12,000/- per annum for a student of B.Com (Hons.) or B.A. (Hons.) Economics in the first year.

SRCC Student’s Union Scholarships

  • Two need-cum-merit scholarships of ₹12,000/- each per annum for students in the second year.

Sultan Chand Trust Scholarship

  • Two scholarships of ₹12,000/- each per annum for toppers of I year and II year of B.Com. (Hons.). The scholarships will be awarded to the topper only, even if the student receives any other scholarship(s).

S. Grewal Scholarship

  • One need-cum-merit scholarship of ₹12,000/- per annum is awarded to a B.Com. (Hons.) II-year student who has secured, on average, at least 65% marks in the previous two-semester examinations.

Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Foundation Scholarship

  • The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Foundation, Japan, awards scholarships of US $420 each to 12 undergraduate students.

CUET Registration - FAQs

Students aspiring to secure SRCC UG admission must apply and appear for CUET UG. The SRCC admissions will be based only on the CUET scores.

The SRCC admission will be through CUET UG. The CUET UG form will be released in mid-February 2025.

SRCC is a commerce special college and one of the best in India. To secure admission at this college, students must score perfect (full marks) in CUET and have equally excellent marks in class 12 Boards.

Though the SRCC admission will be solely based on the CUET scores, the class 12 marks will be considered in case of a tie between two or more students. Therefore, class 12 Board marks will play a significant role in securing SRCC UG admission.

The CUET UG syllabus is the complete NCERT class 12 syllabus for respective subjects. Students preparing for CUET 2025 must follow this syllabus strictly.

The NIRF 2024 ranking of SRCC is 19. However, this fails to justify the reputation of SRCC in the commerce domain as the NIRF college ranking considers overall comprehensive features facilities, whereas SRCC only offers and specialises in commerce domain UG courses.
