3. Interview - This is the final stage of selection. The interview is of 100 marks. This is a common interview process conducted by IBPS with the help of zonal banks.

Those who clear the cut-off score of main examination are called for the interview. The interview process is a mix of HR interview and interview on banking knowledge.

The minimum qualifying marks for the interview is 40% (35% in case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EXSM Candidates).
Once, the interview is over the 200 marks of main examination is converted into 80 marks using linear scaling method and 100 marks of Interview are converted into 20 marks, again by using linear scaling method.

After this a final cut-off is declared which is out of 100 marks (80-Main and 20-Interview).

Depending upon the preference filled by the candidate, he/she is allotted a bank as per his final score.
