Offers Merit-based Scholarships
The ICFAI University, Raipur has been established under Section 9(2) of the Chhattisgarh Private Universities (Establishment and Operations) Act 2005 and notified on March 25, 2011. The University is empowered by UGC to award degrees under Section 22 of UGC Act, 1956. The University is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) New Delhi.
Campus Infrastructure: The University campus is spread over 30 acres of land. It is located at Kumhari, District-Durg. It has academic blocks with classrooms which are well-equipped with latest audio-visual equipment and there are facilities with well equipped library, laboratories and computer center.
Programs: The ICFAI University, Raipur offers career-oriented educational programs at postgraduate and undergraduate levels in management, information technology and science & technology.

Percentage of marks achieved in Class XII (or equivalent) for UG programs and graduation for PG programs will decide the amount of scholarship. Scholarship will continue semester after semester only on maintaining a minimum 6.0 GPA in the previous semester. The details are presented in the following table.

Up to 10% of the students of the batch will be awarded merit scholarships based on their Semester-wise performance in addition to the scholarship based on the past academic record. Details are given below.
The University consciously encourages industry interaction with a wide cross- section of professionals in the industry. Summer projects, industry interaction programs, seminars etc. organized in association with the industry offer students an opportunity to exhibit their organizational and communication skills, analytical abilities and awareness of contemporary issues to leading recruiters.
The training and placement wing at the University looks after the training and placement activities on a full-time and continuous basis. Staffed by senior professionals and placement executives, the team initiates and maintains the university-industry dialogue and manages the summer internship program and final placement activities.
The team evaluates student performance levels and ensures relevant preparation for their corporate placements. Working both at the supply and demand sides of the placement, the team plays the vital intermediary role of matching academic excellence and industry expectations.
