Understand the Exam Registration Process

You can reserve your IELTS exam date in two modes: online on the official website of IELTS or by walking in at your nearby IELTS test centre. During registration, you must carefully select the exam mode and type you are targeting. The entire process is filtered out differently as the availability of dates varies for paper-based and computer-based IELTS.

When you are registering for the test, remember that you need to book your speaking test date separately. Writing, reading, and listening tests are held on the same day, but speaking tests can be held before or after the scheduled test date.
